Lavender Ice Cream

150 gram of sugar 

250 gram of milk 

200 gram cream 

4 egg yolks 

1 vanilla stick 

teaspoon of Culinary Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia "Hidcote)


In a saucepan over medium heat , heat the cream, milk, vanilla stick and lavender flowers. Simmer for 5 minutes, strain and cool down.

 

Whisk yolks and sugar together till they are light and foamy. Add cooled milk and cream mixture, mix well and pour all into the ice-cream maker bowl.

 

Follow instruction of the ice maker machine. After several hours you can enjoy your home made lavender ice cream!
